WORLD-CLASS RIDERS SET TO DESCEND ON BONEO PARK

With just over a week to go until the 2017 Boneo Classic, excitement is building!

Over three days of competition (20-22 January), the 2017 Boneo Classic is set to deliver the ultimate equestrian experience – including World Cup Jumping, CDI Dressage and Para Equestrian.

A feature event on the summer social calendar for equestrian fans, this year’s Boneo Classic features a masterclass with Olympic and World Champion dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin, whilst also showcasing some of Australia’s best-known riders.

In the Patons Machinery Grand Prix CDI, Mary Hanna will be in action on her Rio Olympic mount Boogie Woogie VI and London Olympic mount Sancette. Ever-popular dressage duo Heath and Rozzie Ryan will also be competing in the Grand Prix classes, while Brett Parbery will showcase up and coming star Yarramee Serendipity in the Horse Rail 6yo Young Horse Championship.

In the showjumping arena, the Prancing Horse World Cup Qualifier, scheduled for 3pm on Sunday 22 January, will see a number of big name riders striving for glory – including Olympian Vicki Roycroft, Gabrielle Kuna, Tom McDermott and Stephen Hill. Well-known competitor Chris Chugg will also be making an appearance over the course of the weekend.

In the Para Equestrian classes, Paralympic riders Emma Booth and Joann Formosa will provide spectators with yet another chance to see some of Australia’s best in action.

Besides world-class competition, the 2017 Boneo Classic also features an extensive trade village, great food and plenty of entertainment, including a performance by X Factor Australia singing sensation, Amalia Foy.

The 2017 Boneo Classic is proudly supported by NAB.
