This September, the dressage world descends on the Mornington Peninsula for the Boneo
Park 2019 Spring CDI. Come and soak up the atmosphere at this exciting celebration of
Dressage; this year’s event showcases every facet of our sport.
From Grand Prix CDI-W to AOR Preliminary Championships, Para Equestrian CPEDN to
Young Rider, if you are dressage enthusiast there is a class to inspire you at the Spring CDI.
With the completion of our restaurant complex, spectating has been taken to a whole new
level at Boneo Park. The event layout will be centered around our main outdoor arena with
an extensive trade village, VIP hospitality and entertainment for all.
The Fat Pony Café is the perfect spot for a snack or light lunch. It is also licensed! There is
plenty on offer as you sit on the deck and enjoy the spectacle of the main arena. Barista
made perfect lattés and temptations from the café style menu will sustain your dressage
viewing.
For something a little more substantial, Arilla has commanding views of Boneo Park. Enjoy
the dressage from the balcony as you sample our ala carte menu… Local produce, Peninsula
fare. Make a weekend of it!
Our trade village will equip you with anything you need for your horse or stables. From the
latest European competition gear to something more relaxed. There will be homewares,
and saddlery, fashion and footwear. Meet the traders and enjoy the experience of shopping
in person with your favorite equestrian retailer.
This year over 230 entries have been received.
As we look through the draw, we are excited about the mix of imported and locally bred
talent that has been entered. Zaubermaus, Willinga Park Fusion, Baunehojens Diamond
Dancer, Corinna, Mayfield Limelight, Jarrah R, Flowervale Florenz, Hollands Bend
Highlander…If you are thinking of breeding this season this is a terrific opportunity to look at
the different bloodlines and look at what they are achieving through the levels with
amateur and professional riders alike.
The first of three challenges for the Martin Collins Australia CDI- U25 begins on Friday. This
class sees the likes of Greenoaks Weltman, Utopia Cardinal and Aristede helping our next
generation of dressage stars find their way to the big sport. Friday’s timetable also includes
The Benleigh Equestrian PSG, Gorst Rural has sponsored classes for the gorgeous
Elementary horses and ponies and the Para equestrians will salute the judges in the
Pommery Team Tests. Friday is shaping up to inspire us all.
Saturday 21st takes us on a journey from the Leader Equine Junior Preliminary through to
the Carol Haynes and Skipp Williamson Grand Prix CDI-W. Come and marvel at the
incredible transformation that is the result of beautiful, correct, dressage training. You can
watch classes at both ends of the spectrum with horses from NSW and Victoria featured
throughout.
Tokyo 2020 adds another layer of interest as we cast our eye over the field for the Carol
Haynes and Skipp Williamson Grand Prix CDI-W. There is talent a plenty with their eye on a
trip to Japan. Wendi Williamson from New Zealand will be one to watch as will Maree
Tomkinson and Donna Elena. Crowd favourite Louise Curran will be the epitome of passion
and determination. Three of the top 4 place getters from the NSW State Championships will
are in the line up so the Grand Prix will be a fabulous battle to watch!
Sunday 22nd is Freestyle Day. VIP Tickets holders have exclusive use of Arilla, but the Fat
Pony Café and deck is open to all. Elgee Park and Baillieu wines feature on the wine list and
they are also responsible for the talent in the Medium Tour Freestyle and AOR Novice. Like
we said, there is something for everyone!

days of live dressage, gourmet food, a fabulous wine list, our famous trade village and
a spectacular showcase of Dressage wrapped up in the beautiful surrounds of the
