2026 OTT Dressage Series Delivers Outstanding Performances

The 2026 Racing Victoria Off The Track Dressage Series was held across the Boneo Park Summer Dressage Championships and the PSC HBT Insurance Brokers Autumn Dressage Championships, with combinations contesting up to eight eligible tests for prize money and valuable series points. Standings were determined by each combinationโ€™s three highest percentage scores across the two events.

2025 Racing Victoria Off The Track Carnival Preliminary Dressage Champions, Wairua and Delwyn Ogilvy again delivered impressive performances, consistently scoring above 70 percent to finish with a final series total of 215.996 and secure the 2026 Racing Victoria Off The Track Preliminary Series Championship.

Wairua, who raced as Bonny Ezra, also claimed the $500 Rising Star Award, presented to the highest placed Preliminary horse that had raced, trialed or been purchased from an accredited re trainer within two years of the first event date. Regina Knobel and Hillviewpark Standingovation finished Reserve Champion on 205.531, with Laura Clark and Good Deed third on 205.158.

The Novice Series saw Valkyon and Amanda Ross burst onto the leader board. With a dominant performance at the Autumn Dressage Championships, where every test scored in the 70s, Amanda and Valkyon secured the 2026 Racing Victoria Off The Track Novice Series Championship with a final series total of 217.399 Having not contested the opening round, the pair secured their winning tally from the Autumn competition alone, making the series victory especially impressive. This pair also took out the Combined Training 95cm Championship at the 2025 Racing Victoria Off The Track Carnival; talk about versatility!

Nini Frenzel and Victory Mastery finished second on 211.389, with Grace Imrie and Lady Fiorente completing the podium on 208.724. After winning the 2025 Preliminary Series, it is great to see Lady Fiorente and Grace Imrie continue their strong form as they step up to Novice level in 2026.

In the Elementary Series, 2025 Champions Linton Street and Mariah Kaminski led the January competition, with Jessica Morrison and Afterlife close behind heading into the final round at the Autumn Dressage Championships.

Both combinations produced strong performances at the final event. Ultimately, Linton Street and Mariah Kaminski secured the 2026 Racing Victoria Off The Track Elementary Series Championship with a final series total of 197.353, narrowly edging out Jessica Morrison and Afterlife to defend their title and claim back to back Racing Victoria Off The Track Elementary Series victories. Jacinta West and Four Pillars took out third place.

Linton Street and Mariah are another combination that have demonstrated impressive consistency in Racing Victoria Off The Track competitions, having won the Elementary Championship at the 2025 Racing Victoria Off The Track Carnival.

Series Champions received $1,000 in prize money from the Racing Victoria Off The Track program along with a championship rug proudly provided by Leader Equine.

The 2026 series again highlights the athleticism, talent and versatility of Off The Track Thoroughbreds as they continue to excel in their new careers.
