ABOUT

Boneo Park is a diverse 340 hectare property located in the heart of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula and set within pristine wetland and woodland.

Boneo Park provides an excellent example of sustainable development.  The equestrian facilities and restaurant have been carefully sited on previous farming land, whilst protecting the wetland and Moonah woodland which occupy most of the remainder of the property.

Equestrian competitions which vary from Interschool events to Australian Championships are held most weeks. Spectators are welcome with admission usually free.

The majority of the Tootgarook Wetland is located within Boneo Park.  There are more than ten kilometres of tracks through and around this wetland, as a result of past farming, and these are available for visitors to enjoy the wetland, birdlife and picturesque landscape.

Arilla, our onsite function space, provides local, fresh food in a beautiful setting looking out over our wetland lake and equestrian arenas.  Boneo is a food bowl for Melbourne, and Arilla's menu makes full use of the wide range of available produce.

The property is an excellent example of how to sustainably preserve a precious wetland with extraordinary biodiversity of over 160 bird species and hundreds of species of indigenous flora and fauna, whilst allowing public access for use by the equestrian community and for visitors to actively or passively appreciate this diverse land.  The wetland and woodland have been protected in perpetuity against development under a conservation covenant with Trust for Nature, with 200 hectares protected.

Please be aware of the Boneo Park risk management and code of conduct
